 Aerobic training,  Cardiovacular fitness….whatever scientic name that is being used ……IT’S CARDIO! Long story short, it’s the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen rich blood to the muscles and for your muscles to use them as energy.

Do you consider yourself to be a runner or are you an anti-runner? It seems like we are either one or the other. Cardiovascular fitness i.e. aerobic training is extremely important in the fitness community.

Many people believe that cardio means running outside for miles at a time…*inserts buzzer sound* that is a myth and highly incorrect. Cardio can mean walking at an intense pace, using cardio equipment, or even doing HIIT workouts. Here are 5 reasons why aerobic fitness should be implemented into your fitness journey.
